How does SafAI detect PII without sharing it with cloud AI?
SafAI runs all detection on your device before your prompt is sent.
It combines pattern matching (for structured data like emails and phone numbers) with a local detection engine that recognises names, organisations and other personal details in context. No cloud service is used to find or classify your personal information.
Which AI chat tools does SafAI support?
Claude, via the SafAI Chrome extension. ChatGPT and Gemini are on the roadmap.
The SafAI desktop app must be running locally for the extension to work.
